Who are your potential clients?

The very first question you should ask is "Who are the people or companies that would want performance animation and digital puppetry services and why would they want to pay for those services?". The following is a list of some of those that would want performance animation services.

The important concept to realize here is that these and other companies or organizations that can be your clients have a basic need. For commercial enterprises that need would be "profit". Now how do they achieve that? The basic answer is by getting more people to buy products from them. That's why they spend on advertising and promotions and digital puppetry is a form of advertising and promotional activity. So by providing them with digital puppetry services you actually help them get more customers.

Stores

The main goal of a store, either on a street front or inside a mall is (#1) to get people to come inside the store to look around and (#2) buy the items it's selling.

There are two places you can You can place a video screen on the outside of a store to get people to come in or you can place it inside to entertain the people.

Retaurants

Restaurants are the same case as stores. Outside screens are great for getting people to come in. Inside screens are good for fast food type places. For fine dining places, you'll probably be able to do so only for special events.

Trade Shows & Trade Show Exhibitors

There are thousands of trade shows around the world for various industries. Each exhibitor wants more people to come to their booths. You can place screens either at the entrance to direct people to your client's booth or you can set-up at the client's booth itself to get passing people to make inquiries.

Seminars and Conferences

You can use digital puppets as segment presentors for certain topics or as a co-host.

Other events where there are audiences

This could be personal events like birthdays or public events like concerts.

TV Producers

Digital puppets can be part of commercials or segment hosts or co-hosts in television shows. They can fit in news, variety, music & video and game show formats.

Advertising, Marketing and Events Management Companies

These companies may avail of the services themselves but will more likely do so for their clients.

Theme Parks and Carnivals

Digital Puppets can be used to attract people to the park itself at the entrance or for certain rides or booths within the part.

Museums, Aquariums, Zoos

Digital Puppets can be used to attract people to the establishment itself at the entrance or act as hosts for certain parts of the establishment. e.g. A dinosaur's head can explain a bit about the jurassic era.

Video Game companies, Arcades, Vendors, Internet Cafes / Game centers

Digital puppets are perfect for these establishments because most of the people who go to these establishments already are familiar with virtual characters. It makes sense to have a birtual character (digital puppet) be a special event host or barker.

Audio Visual Production Companies

Companies that make audio visual presentations can record digital puppetry as a way of making fast animation for their visual presentations.

Websites, Website Builders

Essentially the same as AVP companies. The only difference would be the video output would be digitized and placed on a website on the internet.

Schools and other educational institutions

Digital puppetry can be used in schools as part of special events or certain parts of the curriculum.

Daycare Centers

Digital puppetry can be used as part of the entertainment and activities package for kids.
